CURRENTLY SHOWING AT THE CRESWICK THEATRE COMPANY
*** PERFORMANCE POSTPONED ***
It is with heavy hearts we are very sorry to inform you that our season of
EXTINCTION – The Ballad of Pirt-Koorrook,
scheduled for 7.30 pm Friday July 1 – Sunday July 3 cannot proceed, due to illness.
This project has been long in the development and is an important new work. We intend to have a rest and make sure everyone is well again, then burst back onto the stage in August (dates to be finalised asap).
We apologise for the extremely short notice. We also acknowledge this is particularly challenging for those of you who were booked for last week, and have already rescheduled.
At this point, you can choose a refund, processed within the week or to sit on your booking until new dates are announced and choose another date. All tickets will be honoured in the way of your choice.
We really hope to see you at this very beautiful and challenging show.

‘Extinction: The Ballad of Pirt Koorrook’ is a powerful collaboration between Indigenous and non-Indigenous theatre makers.
The play is directed by Tim Drylie (Kath and Kim and Sea Change) with First Nations co-director Corey Sailor Brunskill (recipient of an MTC First Nations Scholarship and member of the ILBIJERRI Theatre Company). Corey also features as a member of the cast alongside Shiralee Hood, an accomplished actor, director and radio presenter; Clara Edmunds, a professional actor from the UK; and Tim Harris, a local Ballarat performer.
Palawa and Wiradjuri theatre maker Nicola Ingram rounds out this dynamic cast with her skilled interpretation of chorus and country elements for the show.
